In the most recent episode of the Cyclingnews Podcast, we appear again at the Giro d’Italia, Gent-Wevelgem and talk about in which Mark Cavendish goes from below after he told the entire world that Gent-Wevelgem may well be his ultimate race.  We also listen to from Mads Pedersen, Jack Haig, and Alex Dowsett.

We start out with Cavendish, who told reporters that Gent-Wevelgem could be his closing race as professional rider. In emotional scenes, the British rider gave little else absent but, with his deal up and no confirmation of an extension at Bahrain McLaren, could this be it for the sprinter who has received 30 phases of the Tour de France, Milan-San Remo, and numerous far more races?
